What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Ranking Science, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the machine learning systems that power arenaflex's matching capabilities. Here's what you can expect in this role:

• End-to-End Model Development: You'll design, develop, and deploy machine learning ranking models from initial prototype through production. This includes everything from conceptualizing new approaches to optimizing existing systems for performance and accuracy.


• Dataset Preparation: You'll prepare and curate high-quality datasets for training and evaluation, ensuring our models have the best possible foundation for learning meaningful patterns.


• Model Training and Optimization: Train, fine-tune, and continuously improve large-scale models to enhance matching relevance and candidate experience. You'll experiment with cutting-edge techniques and iterate on model performance.


• Production Inference Services: Build, maintain, and enhance model inference services that operate at massive scale, ensuring reliable and efficient performance for millions of daily users.

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications

We're seeking a candidate with a strong quantitative background and proven experience in machine learning development. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit to our team.

Essential Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Social Sciences, or related disciplines. Advanced degrees are welcome but not required.


• Industry Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer in a production environment.


• Model Development Expertise: Significant hands-on experience with training, fine-tuning, and evaluating large-scale machine learning models.


• Deep Learning Proficiency: Strong knowledge and practical experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face. You should be comfortable implementing neural network architectures and understanding their underlying principles.
