Position Overview

As a Remote Chat Agent at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline of our customer engagement efforts. This full-time, non-exempt position requires you to professionally acknowledge and respond to inbound chat messages, text conversations, and emails on behalf of our valued automotive clients. Your role is critical in shaping the customer experience and ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities as a Remote Chat Agent will include, but not be limited to:

  • Technical Awareness: Identify and promptly report any system errors, anomalies, or technical issues that may impact customer interactions or platform functionality.

  • Meet Performance Metrics: Work toward achieving or exceeding set minimum conversation targets per hour while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Multi-Platform Operation: Efficiently navigate and operate within multiple software platforms, learning new systems quickly and adapting to evolving technology tools.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain an Engagement Rate Above (ERA) benchmark as established by department standards, actively participating in coaching and development opportunities when needed.

  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions, concerns, and resolutions within our CRM and support systems.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Automotive Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of the automobile industry, including familiarity with various vehicle makes, models, and automotive terminology. This knowledge enables you to provide accurate and helpful information to customers seeking vehicle information.
  • Technical Requirements: Must have reliable access to high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps recommended) and a quiet, professional home office environment suitable for remote work.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation. You must be able to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Typing Proficiency: Ability to type efficiently (minimum 35-40 WPM) to meet response time requirements.
  • Availability: Must be available to work the scheduled shift as assigned, with flexibility to adapt to department needs.
