Position Overview

As a Centralized Services Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for executing medical service methodologies and driving patient wellbeing results from a remote setting. This role involves executing patient intervention pharmacy programs, ensuring compliance with clinical pharmacy services, and driving pharmacy financial performance by implementing programs that maximize reimbursements while improving patient health outcomes.

You will serve as a trusted resource and contact for patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. Your expertise in pharmacy practices, medication therapy management, and patient communication will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of care we deliver. Key Responsibilities

As a Centralized Services Pharmacist, you will be expected to perform a wide range of duties that support our clinical pharmacy initiatives and patient care objectives. Your primary responsibilities include:


  • Patient Care Program Execution: Implement direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects. You will play a key role in ensuring these programs are effectively delivered to improve patient outcomes.

  • Clinical Pharmacy Services: Drive compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; monitoring and analyzing results; and implementing necessary changes.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all pharmacy operations comply with regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines. Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.

  • Financial Performance: Drive local pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategies with company financial goals. Implement and execute patient intervention pharmacy programs to maximize financial performance while maintaining high standards of patient care.

  • Patient Experience Enhancement: Support efforts to improve patient experience by increasing focus on healthcare services, including patient consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and retail, clinical, or wellness services such as vaccinations, illness state management, and Specialty programs.

  • Team Support and Mentorship: Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field leadership. Support staff training experiences and development opportunities while promoting collaboration and motivating pharmacy staff through a shared vision aligned with company values.

  • Medication Review and Safety: Conduct data and clinical reviews and take necessary action to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications. Review drug histories and patient profiles to ensure appropriate and safe medication therapy. Provide individualized patient and provider consultation.

  • Patient Communication: Through use of superior interpersonal skills, win the trust of patients by listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy issues. Address patient questions, discussions, and concerns related directly to patient treatment.

  • Clinical Advice and Information: Provide clinical advice and information to patients, physicians, and insurance plans as needed. Serve as an informed resource and expert on medication therapies, drug interactions, and treatment protocols.

  • Quality Assurance Feedback: Provide feedback regarding the effectiveness of Client Retention Program, including comments from patients as the value of individual consultations.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other work consistent with the job responsibilities as assigned by management. Observe guidelines and procedures for all job duties to meet objectives.

  • HIPAA Compliance: Comply with company policies and procedures including all HIPAA rules and regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or related field is required.

  • Licensure: Current Pharmacist license as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority. You must maintain active licensure in good standing throughout your employment.

  • Experience: Prior experience inspiring colleagues to research and resolve issues is preferred.

  • Confidentiality: Experience working with sensitive and confidential information is essential.

  • Availability: Able to work non-standard hours, which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends as required by business needs.

  • Time Management: Experience using time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of various projects with varying completion dates.

  • Self-Direction: Experience developing approaches to achieving goals with minimal supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives, and knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.

  • Customer Service: Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Travel: Able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:


  • Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacy licenses if necessary to support business operations.

  • Knowledge of insurance plans and billing processes.

  • Knowledge of PC operating systems including RAD, COMMIT, and Plus systems.

  • Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, adjusting text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).

  • Basic level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: embedding, editing, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, expanding bullet points, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or note, moving objects, printing handout view and/or running a slideshow).

  • Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and adjusting text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and paragraph width, formatting, inserting shots, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print capabilities).
