Position Overview

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in developing and scaling AI and machine learning solutions that identify, predict, and prescribe solutions for potential issues before they affect our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build models using machine learning, deep learning, and other advanced technologies that analyze hardware and software systems within our large server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models: Design, build, and implement machine learning and deep learning models to predict and analyze data across hardware and software systems within our extensive server infrastructure, preventing outages and identifying errors before they occur.

  • Collaborate on innovative solutions: Work closely with cross-functional teams using an integrated approach to address complex challenges, leveraging your expertise in AI and statistical analysis to develop creative solutions.

  • Support system implementation: Assist in processes related to the deployment of systems into production, including the integration of purchased solutions and ensuring seamless functionality.

  • Design and coding: Take ownership of design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of AI/ML solutions, ensuring quality and maintainability.

  • Data pipeline optimization: Analyze unstructured data sources and engineer new features to enhance existing data pipelines, improving overall system performance.

  • Knowledge sharing: Provide technical support and expertise to the broader team, mentoring colleagues and contributing to collective success.

Essential Qualifications


  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field is required.

  • Professional experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML with domain knowledge and expertise in:

    • Data-driven statistical modeling

    • Discriminative methods

  • Programming proficiency: Strong experience in at least one programming language such as Python, R, or SQL, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.

  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field; or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience optimizing existing data pipelines and working with unstructured data sources.

Compensation and Benefits
