What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you'll be the friendly face (and voice) that travelers encounter throughout their journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ticket Operations: Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets with accuracy and efficiency
- Reservation Management: Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations while providing excellent customer service
- Rebooking Services: Rebook passengers on oversold flights and handle irregular operations with professionalism
- Check-In Procedures: Perform passenger check-in and seat assignments, amend oversold seat assignments, and issue boarding passes
- Support Services: Issue vouchers and coordinate with contractors for passenger hotel accommodations, meals, and transportation during delays or disruptions
- Boarding Processes: Perform passenger boarding procedures, including ticket lift and check processes
- Gate Operations: Operate gate reader/scanner equipment and handle pre-boarding procedures, monitoring carry-on items
- Jetway Operations: Operate jetways and bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers
- Announcements: Make boarding and departure gate announcements with clarity and professionalism
- Flight Reports: Deliver domestic and international flight information to passengers
- Baggage Services: Accept, check, and tag passengers' baggage at destination points and full-service ticket counters
- Training Support: Participate in customer service hands-on training programs
- Transaction Processing: Process and complete credit card transactions at kiosks in the ticket counter area
- Self-Service Assistance: Assist passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk-related tasks
- Document Verification: Clear and verify international documents at kiosks in the ticket counter area
- Special Assistance: Help clients requiring special assistance, including boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance passengers, and unaccompanied minors
- Communication: Provide connecting passengers with gate information and flight updates
- Security Compliance: Answer and assist during security or emergency situations
- Policy Adherence: Follow company policies, procedures, and execution guidelines
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with federal regulations including DOT, FAA, and TSA requirements

What You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent international qualification
- Bilingual language skills may be required in certain locations
- Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Must be able to pass FAA criminal background investigations to qualify for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Must be able to obtain appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security identifications, if applicable
- Completion of pre-employment drug screening, comprehensive background investigation, and fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Sabre or other Passenger Service Systems
- Previous face-to-face customer service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
