**Experienced Member Services Representative – Remote Customer Service**

- Collaborate with various departments to resolve member inquiries and ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting

- Process a wide range of transactions, including mortgage payments, multi-account deposits, and credit card payments
- Review and approve remote deposit, mobile, and ATM transactions
- Communicate effectively with members, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide exceptional service
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Member Services Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Completing daily tasks related to check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
- Coordinating returns with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working member cases and sports assigned
- Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Processing mortgage payments, multi-account deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions
- Reviewing, examining, and approving remote deposit, mobile, and ATM transactions
- Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
- Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
- Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
- Depositing check returns, reviewing member checks on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and legal fees

To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work prolonged hours in support of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
- Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
- Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail

- Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
