  • *Job Summary**

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Accounting Group, you'll play a critical role in supporting our financial reporting and analysis needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, as well as providing insightful analysis and recommendations to drive business decisions.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • **Financial Reporting and Analysis**: Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, including the general ledger and month-end close cycle.
  • **Intercompany Transactions**: Plan and review compromises for key records on a monthly or quarterly basis, and perform change investigations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • **Related Party Transactions**: Track and analyze related party transactions throughout the fiscal year, and perform valuation investigations to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length.
  • **Collaboration and Communication**: Work closely with the Substance Money, Legal, and other teams within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • **Special Projects**: Assist with special projects, such as budget summaries, financial planning, and research of technical accounting questions.
  • **Internal and External Audits**: Assist with internal and external audits by responding to requests and planning status meetings.
  • *Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • **3+ years of accounting experience**, with a strong background in US GAAP and financial reporting.
  • **High-level working knowledge of Microsoft business suite**, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • **Strong analytical and problem-solving skills**, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • **Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field**.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • **A blend of public and private sector experience**, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
  • **Experience with SAP**, with a strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting.
  • **Experience in the entertainment or technology industry**, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these sectors.
  • **CPA certification**, with a strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting principles.
