Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time HVAC Apprentice to join our Service/Offices Group. In this role, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of commercial HVAC systems. This position offers a fantastic learning opportunity for individuals who are eager to gain practical experience in the field while earning competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

As an HVAC Apprentice at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:


  • Assisting with on-site preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment, including rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, rack heaters, and exhaust fans

  • Supporting installation projects for new HVAC systems in commercial buildings, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry standards

  • Performing various repairs under the supervision of senior technicians, including troubleshooting electrical issues, refrigerant leaks, and mechanical failures

  • Following instructions precisely and implementing technical guidance provided by experienced team members

  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety and efficiency on every job site

  • Learning to read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand system layouts and installation requirements

  • Documenting work performed and maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

  • Communicating professionally with clients, team members, and supervisors both verbally and in writing

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered

  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required

Physical Requirements
