About This Opportunity: Ground Maintenance Technician

We're currently seeking an experienced Ground Maintenance Technician to join our team in Colorado. This is a full-time position offering a competitive hourly rate of $35, with opportunities for overtime and career advancement. As a Ground Maintenance Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the critical mechanized ground support equipment (GSE) that enables our daily operations to flow seamlessly.

Ground support equipment is the backbone of airport operations—without properly functioning baggage carts, pushback tugs, fuel trucks, stair trucks, and other specialized vehicles, airline operations would come to a standstill. Your work will ensure that this equipment remains safe, reliable, and efficient, directly contributing to on-time departures and arrivals that our passengers trust and expect.

What makes this role particularly exciting is the variety of tasks you'll encounter. No two days will be exactly alike. You'll troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, collaborate with team members and external vendors, and maintain detailed records of all work performed. Key Responsibilities

As a Ground Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will span a wide range of technical and administrative tasks:

Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections, servicing, investigation, repair, replacement, and upgrading of various ground support equipment components, including truck chassis, body panels, drive-train systems, and specialized aviation ground support machinery.

Technical Troubleshooting: Perform comprehensive electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs. Diagnose issues with pneumatic systems, interpret schematics and technical diagrams, and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.

Fabrication and Restoration: Execute painting, bodywork, and specialized fabrication tasks to restore equipment to manufacturer specifications. Ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards for safety and performance.

Documentation and Data Entry: Complete precise data entry tasks to record all work performed, including parts used, labor hours, diagnostic findings, and maintenance recommendations. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in our computerized maintenance management systems.

Collaborative Communication: Work effectively with arenaflex staff across departments and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and completion of specialized repairs.

Safety Compliance: Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational process and procedure. Maintain awareness of environmental regulations and ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards.

Inventory Management: Help maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and supplies. Report any equipment deficiencies or safety concerns immediately to supervisory staff.

Technical Documentation: Strong ability to read, understand, and apply information found in technical documents, service manuals, schematics, and repair procedures.
