Our Distributed Systems Engineer team is responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our platform. Our team is responsible for designing, building, and operating the distributed systems that power our platform, including our database access layer, data platform foundation, and big data processing systems.

As a Distributed Systems Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and building scalable, distributed systems that can handle high traffic and large data sets
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence
• Working closely with our data platform foundation team to build and maintain our data platform
• Contributing to the development of our big data processing systems, including our data warehouse and data lake
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring high-quality code is delivered to production
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with our distributed systems in a timely and efficient manner
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in distributed systems and big data processing

• *Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• 2+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed systems or applications
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and big data processing
• Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages
• Knowledge of database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or GCP
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
