Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Enterprise Customer Engineer to join our Cloud AI team. In this role, you will identify and evaluate large-scale AI opportunities that could benefit from AI-optimized infrastructure. You will help clients leverage hardware accelerators within their overall cloud strategy by assisting with benchmarks for existing models, discovering opportunities to apply accelerators for new models, developing migration paths, and supporting research efforts to optimize performance.

You'll work closely with internal Cloud AI teams to eliminate roadblocks and shape future services while serving as a trusted advisor to our top enterprise customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves combining deep technical expertise with customer-facing engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:


  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to our premier enterprise customers, helping them understand and incorporate AI accelerators into their overall cloud strategy by recommending migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures that leverage arenaflex Cloud AI-optimized infrastructure

  • Demonstrate how arenaflex Cloud differentiates itself in the marketplace by highlighting the power of accelerators through working with clients on proof-of-concepts, demonstrating capabilities, optimizing model performance, profiling, and benchmarking

  • Build repeatable assets, tools, and best practices to enable other customers and internal teams to succeed with AI infrastructure implementations

  • Influence arenaflex Cloud strategy at the intersection of infrastructure and AI/ML by advocating for enterprise client requirements and feeding those insights back to product development teams

  • Conduct detailed discovery sessions with customers to understand their current infrastructure, identify pain points, and align on success criteria for AI initiatives

  • Lead technical presentations and workshops that showcase the value proposition of AI-optimized infrastructure solutions

  • Travel to customer sites and industry events as needed to build relationships, understand requirements, and demonstrate solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and sales to ensure customer success and drive product improvements

  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies, accelerator architectures, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge guidance to customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or an equivalent technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with cloud infrastructure, including deployment, optimization, and management of cloud-based systems

  • Hands-on experience building and operationalizing machine learning models, from development through production deployment

  • Proven experience delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions that are aligned with customer objectives, defined scope, and success metrics

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, you will also bring:


  • Experience training and fine-tuning large models (including vision, language, segmentation, recommendation, and genomics models) with hardware accelerators

  • Familiarity with MLPerf benchmarks and understanding of industry-standard performance evaluation methodologies

  • Proficiency with performance profiling tools such as TensorFlow Profiler, PyTorch Profiler, and TensorBoard

  • Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance while managing cost efficiency

  • Experience designing and architecting large-scale infrastructure farms for production AI use cases

  • Ability to interact with C-level and senior business leaders and influence strategic decisions

  • Understanding of enterprise customer procurement processes and contract structures

  • Experience working with enterprise customers in specific industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail, or manufacturing
