We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Texas. As a key member of our team, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. *Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
Communicating and collecting copay amounts
Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams
Screening, identifying, resolving, and deferring orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely processing of specialty medications and meet financial and clinical expectations

*Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone
One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent

*Preferred Qualifications**

Pre-existing healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
