  • Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information, ensuring that all team members have access to the most up-to-date information
  • Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management, ensuring that our team is meeting and exceeding our performance targets
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally
  • Utilizing strong decision-making skills to analyze situations and make logical conclusions, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
  • At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
  • A life and health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired
  • Excellent customer service background and good phone skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle high-stress situations calmly and professionally
  • Demonstrated mathematical abilities and basic PC skills
  • Ability to type at least 30WPM
  • Reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position for which you're applying

As a remote Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:

  • Work in a home office/room or quiet and designated space, with a reliable internet connection and a smartphone
  • Utilize a company-provided workstation and Ethernet cable

  • Work 40-hour workweeks, with flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
