We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our Review Team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service support to our beneficiaries and providers. Your duties will include:
- Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline to address their concerns and provide support.
- Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintaining a high level of decision-making skills to resolve complex appeals and issues.
- Collaborating with internal and external customers to foster effective working relationships.
- Participating in Review Team meetings to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.

- *What You'll Need**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-high school business courses are a plus.
- Medical terminology is desired.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor.
- Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills.
- Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- General knowledge of a PC-based computer system is desirable.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently.
- *Experience**
We're looking for candidates with:
- Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.
- Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is recommended.
- Previous data entry or other clerical experience is a plus.
- *Mental and Physical Requirements**
The physical demands of this role include:
- Regularly sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Keying and/or controlling objects.
- Interacting extensively with internal and external customers.
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Occasional travel within the state.
