As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support to customers and brokers through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. You'll be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, processing transactions, and facilitating the issuance of policies.   • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Answer incoming calls and assist callers with inquiries, including:
  • + New business (quotation/payment status)+ Renewals (payment/issuance status)+ Endorsements (processing status/evidence of insurance requests)+ Inspections+ Deficiency letters+ Cancellations/non-renewals+ CEA (payment/policy/quotation status)
  • Perform daily assigned work with primary emphasis on call center activities
  • Research and resolve customer or broker questions/problems
  • Handle agency licensing tasks, including:
  • + Registering new brokers+ Address changes+ Agency mergers
  • Follow up with other departments to resolve problem files
  • Input data in a desktop database for all incoming calls
  • Assist customers at the front desk when necessary
  • Distribute faxes and other correspondence to the department
  • Facilitate the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
  • Participate in individual and group training designed to improve service
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High school diploma and basic computer skills required
  • 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience required
  • Good communication skills with emphasis on phone skills
  • Good interpersonal skills (both internal and external) and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks
  • Occasional decision making and judgment required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Sound decision making skills
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience with desktop databases and software applications
  • Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory requirements
