About the Role: Compliance Analytics Professional
As a key member of our Compliance Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding arenaflex's reputation and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This position offers a unique blend of technical data analysis and compliance management, addressing both pharmacy and front-end operations across our extensive business footprint.
You will be responsible for driving the development and execution of compliance monitoring programs, managing risk assessments, and leveraging cutting-edge business intelligence tools to transform raw data into actionable insights. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a highly regulated environment and enjoy applying their specialized skills to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Risk Assessments: Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive compliance risk assessments for business activities within your assigned area of responsibility. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Monitoring Programs: Develop and implement risk-based compliance monitoring work plans and protocols that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Conduct compliance monitoring data analysis as directed by the Compliance Monitoring Analysis Director. Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful patterns and trends from complex datasets.
- Results Documentation: Analyze and document monitoring results with precision and attention to detail. Ensure all findings are accurately recorded and properly categorized.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive reports of monitoring results and present them to business leaders. Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations to help mitigate potential compliance risks.
- Dashboard Development: Design and create dynamic reports of monitoring activities, results, and related corrective action plans. Develop visual dashboards that provide real-time insights into compliance performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure comprehensive compliance coverage and effective risk management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to compliance monitoring methodologies.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; AND at least 2 years of experience in a compliance monitoring or auditing capacity (e.g., internal audit, compliance monitoring); OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in a compliance monitoring or auditing capacity.
- Analytical Expertise: Minimum 2 years of experience developing metrics, analyzing data, and converting information into actionable insights to identify potential risk areas or trends.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with data analytical tools and processes. Familiarity with data visualization and reporting platforms.
- Leadership Skills: At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team management experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work, particularly when handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- 5+ years of experience in a compliance monitoring or auditing capacity.
- Experience with regulatory compliance requirements relating to retail pharmacy and/or healthcare provider industries.
- Experience working with private or highly sensitive information in accordance with privacy and security standards.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within the organization.
- Proficiency in business intelligence software for data analysis, including tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, and others.
- Advanced skills in data extraction and mining, along with expertise in data acquisition, profiling, managing data warehouses, and understanding statistical concepts such as regression, data science, and AI.
- High-level skills in creating and optimizing SQL queries for large-scale database management.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and pharmaceutical compliance standards.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE are a plus.
Technical Skills & Competencies
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Data Analysis Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macro creation.
- Business Intelligence Platforms: Experience with tools like Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Tableau, or similar platforms for data visualization and reporting.
- Database Management: Strong SQL query writing skills with experience in large-scale database environments.
- Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies, including regression analysis, trend identification, and predictive modeling.
- Data Mining & Management: Experience with data extraction, mining, and management techniques, including data warehousing concepts.
- Reporting & Documentation: Ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and presentations.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
