We're seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team in Dallas. This is a critical role that will be responsible for growing new business opportunities and achieving individual sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Proactively building and developing relationships with potential clients to increase sales potential and meet sales objectives
  • Owning the effectiveness of the sales cycle from start to finish, with a focus on closing deals
  • Using CRM in HubSpot to track and move business through the pipeline and sales process for accurate forecasting
  • Providing cost estimates, credit terms, and planning sales for orders received
  • Working with clients to create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process
  • Identifying new potential clients through professional references, client references, and other means
  • Gathering sales data to track the effectiveness of sales efforts and adjust approach to improve results
  • Answering current and prospective clients about products, installation, pricing, and lead times in a way that adheres to sales practices and supports clear communication
  • Understanding and conveying motivation programs/contributions to clients, when applicable
  • Planning reports of sales and keeping track of accounts
  • Entering new client information and other sales data for current clients into CRM database
  • *Requirements**
  • Bachelor's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two or more years' related experience or potentially training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven track record of success in sales, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Valid, insurable driver's license
