  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Utilize arenaflex's data entry techniques and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system.
  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to acquire missing medication data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry issues related to special cases.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Resolve Outsider Exceptions by inspecting, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
  • Resolve phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise resolve the Outsider Exceptions.
  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas.
  • Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary.
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and shut down programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online).
  • Basic web search skills to include opening a program, typing URLs in the address bar, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files).
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
  • 18 years old or older.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents).
  • Familiarity with Spanish and English.
