As an Experienced Bilingual Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound customer calls and responding to inquiries in both English and Spanish, including questions about utility bills, service interruptions, account setups, disconnections, and more.
  • Assisting customers in understanding their bills, resolving billing discrepancies, and facilitating payments.
  • Processing requests for new service, transfers, or terminations of utility services.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting customer issues, providing accurate solutions and guidance for technical problems (e.g., power outages, water issues).
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • *Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a utility or related industry.
  • Fluency in Spanish (3 years of experience required) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong typing skills with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and resolve complex customer issues.

While not required, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience in utility customer service, including knowledge of utility billing systems and regulations.
  • Familiarity with billing systems and software, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
