Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Drug Rebate Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Medicaid Drug Rebate payments, ensuring compliance with established procedures and contract requirements. Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as a Drug Rebate Data Entry Clerk will include:


  • Payment Processing: Post and reconcile drug rebate payments in our PRIMS and Process Manager systems, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and properly categorized.

  • Financial Tracking: Track, maintain, and update weekly deposit spreadsheets and correspondence, maintaining comprehensive records of all rebate transactions.

  • Historical Data Management: Index, correct, and post historic payments as required, ensuring complete and accurate historical records.

  • EFT Payment Management: Manage deposit spreadsheets and coversheets for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments from pharmaceutical manufacturers.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Desk Level Procedures and contract requirements while maintaining quality, production, and compliance standards set by management.

  • Process Improvement: Support departmental initiatives that improve efficiency and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

  • Team Collaboration: Serve as a dependable contributor to team and organizational goals, collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.

  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects to support operational success and contribute to team-wide initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:


  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe/Nitro, and general PC/Windows systems.

  • System Experience: Familiarity with PRIMS, Process Manager, SSRS Reports, and Remote Desktop Connection. Previous experience with similar financial or healthcare systems is highly valued.

  • Data Entry Skills: Strong 10-key proficiency with the ability to perform high-volume data entry with speed and accuracy.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills to ensure precise financial records.

  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

  • Confidentiality: Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standards and other regulatory requirements.
