What You'll Do: Making Travel Magic Happen
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline hero who ensures our passengers receive world-class assistance from the moment they step into the airport until they reach their destination. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ticket Processing: Issue, reissue, and refund passenger tickets with accuracy and efficiency while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Reservation Management: Book, ticket, and confirm flight reservations, ensuring passengers receive the best options for their travel needs and budget.
- Rebooking Services: Expertly rebook travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations, turning potentially negative situations into positive experiences.
- Check-In Operations: Perform passenger check-in and front seat assignment (except curbside), correct oversold seat assignments, and process seat upgrades professionally.
- Traveler Support: Issue vouchers and provide direction with contractors for passenger lodging facilities, meals, and transportation during delays or cancellations.
- Boarding Procedures: Perform passenger boarding, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check operations with precision.
- Gate Operations: Operate gate reader/scanner and related duties including pre-boarding, monitoring/checking carry-on items, and managing exit lane procedures.
- Jetway Operations: Operate jetways/bridges for boarding and deplaning passengers safely and efficiently.
- Announcements: Make boarding and departure gate announcements in a clear, professional manner.
- Flight Documentation: Deliver domestic/international flight records and ensure all documentation is processed accurately.
- Baggage Services: Accept, check, and tag passengers' luggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters.
- Self-Service Assistance: Help passengers with self-service kiosk check-in and kiosk baggage handling at ticket counters.
- Special Assistance: Assist clients requiring special help or in-station support; help with boarding, deplaning, and transporting non-mobile passengers, special assistance travelers, and unaccompanied minors.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and performance standards while complying with FAA, TSA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Training: Complete all job-relevant phases of training and maintain certifications required for the position.
Additional Responsibilities Based on Airport Size:
- Perform Passenger Activity Control capabilities including air-to-ground communication along with Ramp operations
- Help international passengers through customs/immigration, including baggage recheck
- Deliver tickets, international flight records, and customs/immigration forms

- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Language Skills: Bilingual language abilities may be required in certain locations
- Documentation: Valid driver's license as required by local authorities
- Background Checks: Must satisfy FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access credentials to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
- Security Clearances: Must be able to obtain appropriate airport authority and U.S. Customs security identifications, if applicable
- Pre-Employment Screening: Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Availability: Must have regular and predictable on-site attendance, including meeting any mandatory overtime requirements
