The Role: Data Analytics Sales Specialist
We're currently seeking a talented and experienced Data Analytics Sales Specialist to join our Enterprise Sales team. In this critical role, you'll serve as a strategic advisor to C-suite executives and their leadership teams, helping them shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation across their organizations.
As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist at arenaflex, you'll lead go-to-market strategies and business initiatives, manage campaigns, and provide valuable feedback to our Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product roadmap. You'll act as a solution expert within our direct enterprise sales organization, serving as the trusted guide to help clients improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more efficient, collaborative, and accessible to their customers.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building lasting client relationships through your expertise in data analytics and cloud solutions. Your daily activities will include:
- Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with client executives as the primary data analytics expert, influencing long-term strategic direction and ensuring customer success across enterprise accounts.
- Partner Collaboration: Work closely with and manage implementation partners to deliver exceptional results for our clients, ensuring seamless execution of cloud and data analytics projects.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive account plans, including broader enterprise strategies across key industries, with a focused approach on growing and expanding existing accounts.
- Solution Consultation: Help clients identify use cases ideally suited for arenaflex's Data and Analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and measurable business impacts that align with their strategic objectives.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with arenaflex account and technical teams to develop and drive sales pipeline, providing expert guidance and developing Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives with arenaflex platform partners.
- Business Transformation: Lead business and client transformation strategies aligned with data and analytics initiatives, ensuring clients achieve measurable outcomes from their cloud investments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with Acquisition, Legal, and Business teams to negotiate and finalize business and legal agreements that protect both client and company interests.
- Technical Partnership: Collaborate with engineers and client technical leads to develop compelling business cases and implementation plans that demonstrate the value of our data analytics solutions.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and client-facing skills. The ideal candidate will bring:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management focused on data analysis, data warehousing, or data management software solutions.
- Proven experience with planning, pitching, and executing territory or regional sales strategies that drive measurable revenue growth.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and Business Development to negotiate and execute complex enterprise agreements.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical teams including engineers and client technical leads to build business cases and develop implementation proposals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving customer satisfaction in enterprise sales environments.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend strategic meetings.
Preferred Qualifications

- Deep experience with the complete data lifecycle including data storage, data processing and analysis, data archiving and retention, and data governance/security.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based data and analytics offerings such as BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and data architecture principles, including scalability, security, and performance optimization.
- Experience designing and executing business and client transformation strategies focused on data and analytics initiatives.

- Previous experience in startup or high-growth technology environments is highly valued.
