Position Overview
As a Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the voice of our company, assisting internal and external customers with moderately complex issues related to insurance matters. Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of our Customer Care team, you will:
- Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy, addressing moderately complex issues related to insurance policies, coverage, claims, and policy provisions.
- Deliver exceptional service by actively listening to customer concerns, understanding their needs, and providing feasible solutions within compliance and legal requirements.
- Navigate multiple systems and platforms to access account information, review policy details, and document interactions accurately in our CRM system.
- Interpret policy information within prescribed authority limits, making appropriate recommendations or decisions based on your deep product knowledge.
- Escalate unresolved issues to advanced support teams when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Build your knowledge and acumen through self-directed learning, staying informed about underwriting guidelines, policy updates, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
- Contribute to department knowledge resources by helping maintain current information, FAQs, and process documentation.
- Identify trends and patterns by actively listening to customer concerns and providing insights to leadership for continuous improvement.
- Recommend process improvements based on your frontline experience, helping the team work more efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Policy Support, Claims, and Underwriting to ensure comprehensive responses to customer inquiries.
- Work with external vendors when needed to address specialized customer needs and ensure complete issue resolution.
- Adhere to your assigned schedule and follow proper procedures for requesting time off, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- One year of experience in insurance or a related field is preferred
- Experience providing customer support in a high-volume, complex environment is highly desirable

Training & Development
We invest in our employees' success. As a new Customer Care Representative, you'll receive comprehensive training to set you up for success:
- Training Schedule: Monday - Friday from 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST during the training period.
- Department Hours: After training, you'll be assigned an 8-hour shift within our department hours of Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST.
- Ongoing Learning: Access to self-directed learning resources, product training, and compliance updates.
