Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Associate Network Security Engineer to support our IT Data Security initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our critical infrastructure, applications, and network systems. You will serve as a key partner in ensuring the functional sustainability of the systems that support our organization, clients, partners, and vendors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, firewall management, and infrastructure support, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to evolving technological landscapes. Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Network Security Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following core duties:
- Network Security Infrastructure Management: Design and provide support services to ensure the functional sustainability of the critical infrastructure that supports arenaflex's applications, clients, partners, and vendor connectivity and security for the Network Security Group.
- Internal and External Network Support: Provide IT support to secure internal, partner, merchant, and external network connections to arenaflex and tenant applications across multiple critical data center infrastructures.
- Firewall Operations: Manage firewall hardware and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services in data center critical infrastructure.
- Remote Access Security: Support enterprise remote access clients by aligning client edge security technology with client-managed workstations, utilizing advanced technologies such as Application ID and User ID for granular user identification.
- Airport Operations Support: Provide IT support for airport operations mobile network configuration, NetMotion, hardware, and software maintenance, including site implementations, inventories, system planning, preventive maintenance, and break/fix services.
- Security Policy Consultation: Collaborate with business departments through consultation services responsible for firewall policies and access control guidance.
- Emergency Response: Provide functional emergency support of critical facilities and infrastructure components for Network Security operations.
- Data Integrity Maintenance: Support the IT Information Security Division in maintaining the integrity and business continuity of enterprise data and applications.
- Policy Development: Recommend and implement departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
- Project Management: Manage data center and remote communication room standards capital improvements, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Vendor Management: Ensure accurate documentation, obtain the best product and service pricing, and ensure vendors fulfill their contractual obligations.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to independently complete tasks with minimal guidance and direction.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers.
- Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. Knowledge of cloud networking and security principles is also valuable.
- Infrastructure Management: Experience managing and maintaining server infrastructure both on-premises and in cloud environments.

- Vendor Management: Ability to collaborate with cloud service providers and ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
