Position Overview
As an Analytics Manager at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our paid media investigation capability to surface data-driven strategic opportunities for the Executive Leadership team. Your work will focus on optimizing our paid media spend globally, working closely with marketing teams to identify ways to improve efficiencies and drive measurable results.
This is a part-time position offering 8 hours per week, with competitive compensation at $26/hour. The role is based in New Jersey, USA, and offers flexibility in work arrangements. You will be responsible for developing reporting and investigations to frame and drive decisions, establishing KPIs and scorecards to track progress and execution, and ultimately driving a focus on results and performance across our paid media initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As an Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Reporting and Insights Delivery: Deliver comprehensive reporting and insights in the space of paid media, ensuring timely and accurate information reaches stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- BI and Analytics Development: Plan and build/lead the development of analysis, business intelligence, and data science predictions aimed at enhancing measurable paid media and improving advertising efficiencies.
- Media Mix Modeling: Collaborate with the paid media data science team and marketing teams on implementing media mix models to optimize our advertising strategy.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct special analysis through database querying, followed by intelligent interpretation of results and the design and communication of recommendations that drive action.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a partner with marketing, finance, and data product teams to address business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach.
- Reporting Tools Expertise: Leverage Structured Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports.
- Root Cause Analysis: Analyze data to identify business issues and conduct deep dives to perform root cause analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Data Utilization: Work with partners to utilize data from internal sources (Discernible and arenaflex) as well as external data from market research and advertising agencies to address complex business challenges by delivering relevant insights.
- Customer Insights: Brainstorm and run analysis that produces insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce environment or related field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL experience is required, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
- Visualization Tools: Advanced proficiency in at least one industry analysis and statistics visualization tool such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI.
- Excel Expertise: Mastery in Excel with a proven history of using advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis features.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field.
