Water and Sewer Field Technician (Asset Management Technician)

Location: Remote - Chicago Metropolitan

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 34 hours per week

Pay Rate: Starting at $23.23 per hour

 

 

 

Summary: Inspect, maintain and record data regarding water, sewer and other community assets using specialized equipment and geospatial technologies to help small utilities implement asset management and maintain compliance with related regulatory requirements.

Benefits and Perks:

 

 

Education:

Associate’s degree in water/wastewater operations, civil engineering, geospatial technologies, environmental sciences or a combination or equivalent training and experience in related fields. 

 

Experience:

One to three years’ experience in water or sewer utilities, utility mapping, utility locating, civil engineering technician, soil and water conservation or remediation, environmental testing, or geospatial technologies. One to three years’ experience working with MS Word, Excel, or Google Docs and Sheets or equivalent word processing and spreadsheet programs.
