The role & impact

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be a senior contributor focused on building and growing relationships with our most significant accounting and bookkeeping partners. Your work directly impacts the wider economy by helping these firms develop their online strategies, making small businesses more efficient and connecting them with powerful technology.

You will drive the creation of business plans for large firms and navigate the pre-sales process to ensure their transition to Xero is seamless. By leveraging internal relationships and your own outbound prospecting activity, you will convert potential market opportunities into long-term success stories for our partners.

The team & how they connect

You will work as part of a coordinated sales organisation, collaborating closely with Senior Account Managers, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure our partners' requirements are met. This role acts as a vital liaison, sharing insights from the field to help shape future product evolutions while nurturing a supportive community.

Where and how you can work

This role offers remote working, though it requires significant travel to partner meetings and events across the UK to build face-to-face rapport. You will have the autonomy to manage your schedule while staying connected with the team through regular boost days in the office and weekly check-ins.
