Join arenaflex: Redefining the Future of Pet Healthcare
Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? At arenaflex, we're not just building technology—we're transforming how pet parents care for their beloved companions and how veterinarians deliver exceptional care. We're on an ambitious mission to create the most comprehensive virtual care ecosystem in the pet industry, and we need a visionary Senior Program Manager to help lead this exciting journey.
Imagine working for a company that treats pets like family, where every line of code you oversee contributes to healthier, happier lives for millions of animals across the country. That's arenaflex. We're obsessed with pets and their parents, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion to join our dynamic Virtual Healthcare Team as a Senior Program Manager.
About arenaflex and Our Virtual Healthcare Vision
At arenaflex, we believe that every pet deserves access to exceptional healthcare, regardless of location or circumstance. Our Virtual Healthcare division is pioneering innovative solutions that connect pet parents with veterinary professionals through cutting-edge technology. We're building proprietary platforms that power the industry's most extensive pet virtual care network, and we're just getting started.
As a Senior Program Manager within our Virtual Healthcare division, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our groundbreaking technology initiatives. You'll work alongside talented product managers, engineers, designers, and operations specialists to deliver software solutions that delight both pet parents and our veterinary partners. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly influence the health and wellbeing of pets across the nation.
What You'll Do: Lead Software Excellence in Pet Healthcare
As the Senior Program Manager for arenaflex's Virtual Healthcare Team, you'll own the end-to-end delivery of software initiatives that power our pet care platform. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining our commitment to excellence while scaling our virtual care offerings to meet growing demand.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Launch Excellence: Oversee consumer engagement testing for all feature and product launches, including recruitment, scheduling, device coordination, reporting, and post-launch analysis. You'll identify potential risk areas and ensure successful completion of pre-release testing through effective communication and flexibility.
- Release Management: Coordinate internal software program releases with Operations. You'll define ongoing release schedules, develop supporting processes, and create comprehensive launch notes that keep all stakeholders informed and prepared.
- Bug Management & Quality Assurance: Lead the overall bug system, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure bugs are properly prioritized and required work efforts are coordinated. You'll identify process improvements needed to maintain exceptional quality standards for our production services.
- Incident Response & Analysis: Provide initial discovery and research of all new, non-urgent tickets submitted through our ticketing system. This includes pulling incident information, adding datacom tracking, reproducing issues, and capturing screen recordings for efficient resolution.
- Weekly Service Monitoring: Evaluate weekly service incidents, determine and communicate costs of service outages, track metrics, and identify system upgrades to reduce service-impacting incidents over time.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with arenaflex stakeholders throughout the enterprise to drive timely resolution of issues. You'll be comfortable proactively seeking help from other team members to quickly solve problems.
- Process Improvement: Analyze bug reporting process flows and identify upgrades to reduce the burden on our veterinary team when reporting issues. Determine if additional tactics are needed for customers to report bugs effectively.
- Customer Quality Insights: Identify additional sources of customer quality problems (e.g., customer service feedback, voice of the client, app store reviews) and incorporate these insights into appropriate processes.
- Performance Optimization: Recognize process development opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to close performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
- Reporting & Recommendations: Create, analyze, and maintain internal reporting mechanisms and make strategic recommendations to senior management based on data-driven insights.
What You'll Need: Qualifications That Drive Success
We're looking for an experienced program manager who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional software experiences. The ideal candidate will combine technical acumen with outstanding leadership and communication skills.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of program or project management experience in software development or technology environments.
- Technical Leadership: Experience owning software strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership. You should be technically talented with knowledge of various mobile operating systems and computer hardware and software.
- Product Experience: Experience working with e-commerce and mobile app products. You must grasp complex technology easily and be capable of learning new information quickly.
- Process Excellence: Experience implementing repeatable tactics and using automation and/or standardization to drive efficiency.
- Time Management: Strong task and time management skills, with the capacity to adapt to constantly shifting schedules and time demands.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational competencies with the ability to track and guide multiple tasks simultaneously. You must be highly detail-oriented.
- Relationship Building: Ability to shape robust relationships across disparate groups and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Execution: Demonstrated track record of handling and executing projects from begin to finish, including project management, data gathering, problem solving, and ongoing stakeholder communication.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Experience partnering with engineering, product management, operations and/or design to deliver high-quality products or services that delight customers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong sense of ownership, urgency and pressure tolerance, and a collaborative work style.
- Travel Availability: Position requires periodic travel (2-3 times per year) for team meetings and strategic planning sessions.
Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points!):
- Project Management Certification (PMP, CSM, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the overall pet care industry and current trends in veterinary medicine and pet wellness.
