What You'll Do
As a Senior Strategies Expert – Last Mile Anticipating at arenaflex, you'll be immersed in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Last-Mile Bundle Determination: You will play a critical role in determining how packages are routed and delivered to customers, ensuring optimal efficiency while maintaining our high standards for delivery speed and accuracy.
- Carrier Scope Organization: You'll work closely with our carrier partners to define and optimize their service territories, ensuring that we maximize coverage while minimizing costs and delivery times.
- Demand Planning Alignment: Your analytical prowess will be crucial in aligning carrier package capabilities with our advanced transport-to-home demand plans, creating a seamless flow from prediction to execution.
- Volume Projection Excellence: You'll develop and refine precise bundle volume projections at the most granular level, enabling better resource allocation and operational planning across the organization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage your strong analytical skills to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive operational improvements and strategic recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with functional groups, network planning teams, S&OP teams, carrier partners, and both headquarters and field teams to ensure alignment and shared success.

Work Arrangement
This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on arenaflex's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team member's core role will be a combination of virtual and on-site at an arenaflex location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or another location that is not an arenaflex location, does not have a workspace at their primary headquarters office, and may attend headquarters up to 4 times per year.

What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of education, experience, and skills that demonstrate your ability to excel in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. We're looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: A four-year degree or comparable experience in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar discipline.
- Analytical Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of data analysis experience or relevant equivalent domain insight. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and turning complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL, R, Python, and data visualization programming in a large-scale, complex business environment. You should be able to navigate and analyze data across multiple platforms and tools.
- Big Data Technologies: Experience handling Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Hive. Understanding of distributed computing frameworks and how to work with massive datasets efficiently.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and reasoning abilities that enable you to dissect complex problems, identify patterns, and develop effective solutions.
- Problem-Solving Creativity: A creative approach to problem-solving that allows you to think beyond conventional solutions and develop innovative fixes to challenges.
- Forecasting and Modeling: Experience in forecasting and modeling, with the ability to predict trends and anticipate outcomes based on historical data and market signals.
- Ownership and Results: A proven history of taking ownership and driving results. You should be comfortable setting goals or outcomes and tracking and communicating progress effectively.
- Decision-Making Independence: Ability to make decisions with minimal guidance from supervisors or other leaders. We're looking for self-starters who can navigate ambiguity confidently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to translate complex technical findings into business-friendly language for stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
