The University of Maine System is accepting applications for a Senior Labor Relations Manager. This position performs with independence under the general supervision of the Senior Director of Labor Relations. Assigned responsibilities are in the areas of labor and employee relations including participating in collective bargaining negotiations, leading grievance investigation and response, consultation with university human resources staff on complex employment issues; consultation with system and campus-based Executive, Management, and Human Resources staff on the System Labor Relations (LR) strategy execution to support strategic goals and objectives. They serve as a member of the System wide labor relations center of excellence providing labor and employee relations expertise, support, strategy, and execution throughout the System.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. This is a remote position based within the state of Maine. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable driving distance of campus to allow for periodic on-site presence when required.
Salary: The salary range is $75,000-$95,000.
