As a Senior Information Examiner, you will be part of our Immediate to Shopper group, which oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming services, working closely with our upstream informing partners to ensure precise delivery of membership change notifications and accurate supporter adjustments.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Information Examiner, your primary responsibilities will include:
* **Managing data and document requirements**: Oversee the admission and documentation of information related to supporter informing drives, including cost increments, supporter arrangements, and new information being gathered.
* **Developing business-driven questions**: Foster questions based on required business rationale, sometimes legally binding, to determine precise supporters of supporters for informing and remediation.
* **Communicating with technical teams**: Convey business requirements to technical groups and provide concise summaries of technical progress or potential detours to business partners.
* **Maintaining expertise**: Foster solid knowledge of supporter adjustments and the technical framework underlying supporter information.
* **Project planning and coordination**: Manage project planning and timetables and coordinate cross-functional delivery to ensure readiness for significant business events.
* **Driving alignment**: Drive alignment across Information, Business Operations, and Finance through the development of solid communication processes and functional playbooks.
* **Collaborating with data and quality teams**: Work with Data Item and Information Quality Designing to contribute to the design of strong reporting arrangements that minimize data occurrences.
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* **2+ years of experience** working with SQL, particularly in an ETL processing pipeline.
* **2+ years of analytical experience**.
* **Proven ability** to communicate technical or analytical ideas to a wide range of audiences.
* **Knowledge of Python/R or other statistical programming languages**.
* **Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools**, such as Tableau, Looker, or Chartio.
* **Strong relational skills**, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
* Knowledge of data governance and quality principles.
* Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
