Position Overview
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex within our Talent Acquisition division, you will serve as an autonomous contributor who can source data, cleanse it, explore patterns, refine approaches, optimize solutions, model outcomes, present findings, automate processes, and document our business data pipelines. You will be constantly looking for ways to optimize the data stream process, stay current with the latest trends in data warehousing, and skillfully manage multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with talent acquisition specialists, software developers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide comprehensive analytical support that drives hiring excellence.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Programming expertise: Minimum of 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (such as SQL), scripting languages (such as Python), or statistical/numerical programming (such as R, SAS, Matlab, etc.).
- Machine learning experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, including familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, as well as understanding of parameters that influence model performance.
- Applied modeling skills: Experience applying theoretical models in applied business environments, with a track record of translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Data pipeline knowledge: Understanding of data pipeline architecture and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
