PL/SQL .NET Developer

WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a contract Developer to support their mission of providing clean energy solutions. The role involves developing database-driven applications using Oracle databases and Microsoft .NET technologies, collaborating with various teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle PL/SQL code
• Use Stored procedures, functions, packages, or triggers
• Perform SQL queries and performance tuning
• Design applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF as applicable)
• Integrate .NET applications with Oracle databases
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Debug, test, and resolve application and database issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
• Help with application deployments and production support
• Collaborate with teams including QA, DBAs, and our users
• Document technical designs and application logic

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or Equivalent professional experience or relevant technical training
• 1–5 years experience in application development (or equivalent coursework/projects)
• In-depth experience with PL/SQL and .NET development, C# and .NET Frameworks, or .NET Core
• 1-5 years of general development experience including: RESTful APIs, ASP.NET MVC or Web APIs, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• 1+ years of experience using Visual Studio
• Understanding of source control systems (Git, TFS, or similar)
• WebLogic Server/Administrator
• Oracle Forms or legacy systems
• Agile or Scrum environments
