Junior Account Executive (Public Relations)

Citizen Relations is a global PR agency built to unleash the potential of ambitious brands. They are seeking a high-performing team player to kick-start their career in PR & communications, who will handle multiple client assignments and support media outreach and material development.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple client assignments, which requires strong time-management and organizational skills
• Support the development of media lists with oversight from senior team members
• Conduct media and influencer outreach with guidance from more senior team members
• Write first drafts of media materials, such as pitches, fact sheets and backgrounders
• Contribute to plan development by researching tactical recommendations with support of larger team
• Source costs for campaign elements (e.g. influencer costs, mailer costs, etc.)
• Support all logistical and administrative needs as assigned by the team
• Support the writing of first drafts of case studies with review and input from senior team members

Skills

• A degree in public relations, marketing communications, or similar
• Internship (or similar) experience in public relations, social media management and /or event management
• Past experience in an agency setting is highly valued
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about identifying and influencing trends
