As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for responding to incoming calls from customers inquiring about home delivery pharmacy or pharmacy benefits. You will also be required to ask appropriate questions, listen actively, and document required information in computer systems. Occasionally, you will make outbound calls to customers for follow-ups. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Respond to 60-80 incoming calls from customers inquiring about home delivery pharmacy or pharmacy benefits * Ask appropriate questions and listen actively while documenting required information in computer systems * Occasionally make outbound calls to customers for follow-ups * Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner * Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience * Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and regulatory requirements to provide accurate information to customers **Required Qualifications:** * High School Diploma or GED * Must be 18 years of age or older * 1 year of customer service experience, which includes providing service over the phone * Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word (ability to open and navigate a word document) and Microsoft Excel (ability to open and navigate a spreadsheet) * Ability to attend 3-4 weeks of training with 100% attendance * Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM CST from Sunday - Saturday. During peak season and when deemed necessary by business needs, you will be required to work occasional overtime including a 6th day and one (1) weekend day shift. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Call Center experience * Experience with a virtual learning environment * Experience with a virtual working environment * Experience in working with Digital platforms and systems (Web, Chat, Email) * Health Care/Insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design) **Telecommuting Requirements:** * Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable) * Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy * Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service * Must be able to connect directly into the internet via hard wire (either directly to modem or router) **Soft Skills:** * Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment * Anticipate taking a minimum of 50 calls daily * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team **Physical and Work Environment:** * Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, long periods working at a computer * Must be able to work in a quiet and distraction-free environment **Compensation and Benefits:** * Hourly rate: $16.00 - $28.27 per hour (dependent on location and experience) * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance * Incentive and recognition programs * Equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution * Paid time off and holidays * Opportunities for career growth and professional development **Application Deadline:** This job posting will be live for a minimum of 2 business days or until a sufficient candidate pool has been collected.
