Position Overview: Recruiting Data Analyst
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting Data Analyst to join our People Analytics team. What You'll Do
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Apply a product-centric approach to data and reporting, ensuring discoverability through user-friendly documentation and trustworthiness with rigorous data validation and testing. You will design, build, and maintain data models to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility for analysis.
- Data Collection and Presentation: Collect, analyze, and present data from various systems while providing comprehensive insights and filters to draw meaningful conclusions. You will effectively communicate data assessment to non-technical audiences who may not be familiar with the domain.
- Pattern Recognition and Process Improvement: Recognize patterns to define gaps within our applicant tracking system and advocate for system-wide improvements with responsible parties, including end users and system administrators.
- System Integration and Stakeholder Reporting: Ensure seamless integration with downstream systems and accurate reporting to stakeholders. You will work directly with engineering teams to make system upgrades that help the organization better serve its customers.
- Tool Development: Contribute to the enhancement of our in-house data tools, prioritizing open-source software applications that are customized to address internal customer needs and provide agility for real-time adjustments.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with recruiting teams and hiring managers to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that support their objectives.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for candidates who possess a combination of educational background, technical skills, and personal attributes that will enable them to succeed in this role. While we consider candidates from various backgrounds, the following qualifications will be highly valued:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. We welcome applicants with equivalent experience who demonstrate strong analytical capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working with People or Recruiting organizations, or in-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes. Understanding of HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and talent acquisition workflows is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Prior relational database experience with proficiency in SQL and other query languages. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Process Understanding: Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows and automated testing practices. Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with engineering teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills with a data-first approach to problem-solving. You should be comfortable questioning assumptions, validating findings, and presenting recommendations based on evidence.
- Communication Skills: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Compensation and Benefits
