**Our Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program**

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Assisting pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations
* Using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory
* Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience
* Developing strong relationships with customers, patients, and healthcare professionals
* Maintaining accurate records, processing prescriptions, and handling cash transactions
* Assisting with stock management, ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of prescription medications
* Participating in clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and assisting with medical services as required
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and organizations
**Essential Qualifications**
* Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred
* Previous experience in retail or healthcare settings an asset
* Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems
* Knowledge of inventory management and store operations
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Six months of experience in retail or healthcare settings
* Previous work experience with arenaflex
* PTCB certification or willingness to obtain
* Familiarity with store inventory management and cash handling procedures
