We're passionate about staying ahead of the curve, and we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Database Administrator II to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure, ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of our data. You'll work closely with our development team to ensure that our database systems are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our business. **Key Responsibilities** * Investigate and resolve daily database and application issues * Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new database systems and applications * Develop and maintain database documentation and standards * Support the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures * Design and implement data backup and recovery strategies * Ensure the security and integrity of our data by implementing and maintaining data encryption, access controls, and auditing * Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that our database systems are scalable, efficient, and meet the needs of our business * Participate in application development cycles to ensure that database design and access procedures meet business needs * Plan, prepare, and test backup and recovery strategies for all production databases * Monitor databases for performance and periodically upgrade databases for optimal performance during planned downtime * Create and manage tuning parameters where necessary to improve performance * Determine volumetric conditions to estimate new database sizes and plan accordingly for growth * Communicate plans to IT team members * Responsible for the security of database systems and all business/logical applications associated with it, including creating and maintaining database and application accounts, application/database fixing, and database/application security inspecting * Item checking for performance and health, participate in load test exercises * Other duties as assigned **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA in a business, multi-site SQL Server environment * Strong knowledge of client-server technology * Working knowledge of SQL Server * Middle to advanced skills with SSIS and T-SQL * Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational and analytical skills * Ability and demonstrated capacity to provide the highest level of customer support * Experience with Microsoft Azure and migrating databases to cloud environments * Experience with Reporting Services (SSRS) and Analysis Services (SSAS) is preferred but not required * Experience with .NET programming (C# or VB.NET) and PowerShell is preferred but not required * Experience in the Automotive Industry is preferred but not required * Experience in CRM systems is preferred but not required * Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate directly with both customers and vendors * Strong math and polynomial math skills * Ability to issue, settle, and determine applications that work to have databases **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence * Experience with data migration and data transformation * Experience with database performance tuning and optimization * Experience with database security and compliance * Experience with cloud-based database solutions * Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading provider of innovative solutions * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced Full Stack Database Administrator II looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
