**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Front End Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with our pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for triaging customer service requests, calculating and verifying correct dosages, and creating and maintaining accurate customer records. **Responsibilities**
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
* Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
* Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
* Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
* Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
* Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
* Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy

**Qualifications**
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
* Preferred qualifications:
+ Prior experience in the long-term care industry
+ PTCB National Certification
+ Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
