About the Role: Data Engineer in Operations Analytics
The Operations Analytics (OA) function at arenaflex is the strategic powerhouse that drives our operational excellence. We exist to provide actionable insights that enable leadership to make informed decisions, optimize processes, and deliver unparalleled service to our customers. As a Data Engineer within this team, you'll play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to make it accessible, reliable, and ready for analysis.
Our Data Engineering teams within the Operations Analysis and Performance (OAP) department are the guardians of our data ecosystem. We are responsible for curating authoritative data tables that serve as the Single Source of Truth for all analytics initiatives. You'll help generate and distribute automated reporting in a modular, scalable manner, lead efforts to transition to modern data and reporting tools, and serve as a center of excellence for efficient data processing and management.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that make a real impact on our operations:
- Data Extraction & Integration: Locate and extract data from multiple sources to be used in evaluation, models, and project development. You'll work with diverse data sources including operational systems, customer databases, and external APIs.
- Data Cleaning & Curation: Clean and curate datasets by analyzing new data sources and collaborating with other business units to determine the best source of information. You'll aggregate perspectives into meaningful hierarchies that drive business value.
- Reporting & Analysis Enhancement: Be familiar with data environments and collaborate to improve automated reports and analyses in support of divisional leaders and business units. You'll ensure our reporting infrastructure is efficient, accurate, and scalable.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

- Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of related experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a similar role.
