Position Overview
As an Account Executive at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for our strategic selling partners throughout the entire sales process. Your mission will be to identify, qualify, and onboard high-potential selling partners into our paid service programs, including Marketplace Growth and other premium offerings. You will leverage your expertise in consultative selling to understand partner needs, craft compelling value propositions, and drive revenue growth.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building relationships with key stakeholders, navigating complex sales cycles, and consistently exceeding targets. Key Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving the success of our Key Account Services program. Your key duties will include:
- Partner Identification and Qualification: Identify, qualify, and engage prospective selling partners for Key Account Services. You will develop a thorough understanding of potential partners' businesses, challenges, and objectives to determine the best fit for our paid service programs.
- Consultative Selling Approach: Foster a clear understanding of our selling partners and their unique needs, along with the features and functionalities of our services. Use this knowledge to create tailored solutions that address partner pain points and drive business growth.
- Compelling Value Propositions: Craft eloquent and persuasive value propositions around our paid service programs. Clearly articulate the benefits of partnering with arenaflex and demonstrate how our solutions can help partners achieve their goals.
- Sales Pipeline Development: Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using a highly consultative approach. Accurately forecast sales opportunities and maintain detailed records of all interactions in our CRM system.
- Prospecting and Closing: Prospect and close business to achieve monthly goals for the quantity and quality of sellers enrolled in our programs. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.
- Multi-Opportunity Management: Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and strategically. Prioritize your workload effectively to ensure all prospects receive timely attention and follow-up.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use partner data to inform recommendations that maximize the potential of your assigned territory. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas of opportunity and optimize your approach.
- Performance Tracking: Implement and monitor metrics to track the success and quality of vendors in your territory. Use these insights to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of growth.
- CRM Management: Understand and utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to track all relevant account information, sales progress, and forecast and prioritize achieving quarterly goals.
- Business Reviews: Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and health status for the respective territory. Present findings to internal stakeholders and recommend actions for improvement.
- Industry Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace third-party seller services industry, including knowledge of competing product offerings. Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal partners to drive change, remove obstacles, and close business. Work closely with product, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and satisfaction.
- Additional Projects: Handle additional projects while maintaining a current book of business, such as mentorship and sales analysis, as required.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Combined with 4 years of sales experience in e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or software industries.
- B2B Sales Experience: A minimum of 4 years of business-to-business selling experience, with a proven track record of success in consultative sales environments.
- Prospecting Skills: Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-pitching businesses. You should be comfortable initiating conversations with potential partners and uncovering new business opportunities.
- Executive Influence: Demonstrated ability to effectively influence at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level. You should be able to communicate with C-suite stakeholders confidently and build trust quickly.
- Target Achievement: Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solution-focused approach. You should be motivated by goals and committed to continuous improvement.
- Client Focus: A customer-centric mindset that consistently prioritizes the best interests of the client. You should be dedicated to understanding partner needs and delivering exceptional value.
