Title: Evening/Weekend Spot Quote Specialist

4pm to 12am (CT)
Saturday & Sunday
7am to 3pm (CT)
Description:
We are looking for a Spot Quote Specialist to provide urgent, transactional pricing on shipments during our Weekend and Evening shifts.
What You'll Do:
• Capture transactional shipper opportunities during afterhours shifts by providing spot quote pricing.
• Field quote requests, providing responses in a timely manner, leveraging truck in hand options and/or market knowledge to service the customer and increase profitability for TransLoop.
• Collaborate with internal teammates in TransLoop's Customer Sales, Operations and Carrier Sales departments to showcase industry-leading service and communication at all hours of the day.
• Act as an extension of the Customer Sales teammates on their respective accounts.
• Exemplify TransLoop’s pillars in every interaction: Transparent. Reliable. Collaborative.
What You'll Need
• Relevant supply chain, sales, operational or customer service experience
• 3-5 years logistics experience required
• Knowledge of truckload markets, supply and demand relationships, seasonal trends and industry specifics surrounding pricing
• Exemplify a proven track record of high performance and dependability
• Strong writing and speaking skills
Bonus Points
• Supply chain, logistics or sales-related degree
• You have experience selling or operating enterprise-level accounts in 3PL
