Position Overview: Customer Service Agent – Inbound Phone Support
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact while enjoying work-life balance? arenaflex is currently seeking full-time Inbound Customer Service Representatives to join our dynamic team in Cedar Falls, IA. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance, providing world-class support via inbound phone calls. You'll build lasting relationships, solve challenges, and be part of a collaborative team that celebrates success together.
This position offers an exciting blend of in-person and remote work, giving you the flexibility to design your ideal work environment while receiving comprehensive training to set you up for success. You'll report to a Supervisor, Customer Experience and become an integral part of our mission to deliver outstanding service to every caller.
Compensation and Financial Rewards

- Starting Pay: $15.80 per hour
- Rapid Growth: Three automatic raises within your first 12 months, bringing your hourly rate to $17.00

Work Schedule and Environment
We understand the importance of work-life balance, and we've designed our schedule to give you the time you need for your personal life:
- Standard Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time
- Work Days: Monday through Friday
- Weekends Off: Enjoy your Saturdays and Sundays free!
Training Period: Our comprehensive 8-week onsite training academy will provide you with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to serve our customers effectively. Training takes place at our facility, where you'll receive all the equipment you need on day one, including a laptop, dual monitors, keyboard, and accessories.
Hybrid Work Model: After successfully completing your training, you'll transition to a hybrid arrangement. Team members who meet work-from-home requirements will enjoy:
- 3 Days Onsite: Work from our facility two to three days per week
- 2 Days Remote: Work from the comfort of your home
- Flexibility: Choose which days you prefer to work from home and onsite, with the ability to change weekly based on your preference
- Expanded Remote Options: Earn the opportunity to work from home up to 5 days per week based on performance and tenure
To work from home successfully, you'll need a secure, dedicated workspace and stable internet with speeds greater than 5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds.

Key Responsibilities
As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your daily contributions will directly impact our customers' success and satisfaction:
- Customer Relationship Building: Respond to a high volume of inbound phone calls, creating positive experiences with every interaction
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with customers and Sales team members daily in a team-based environment to resolve issues efficiently
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize a computer and multiple PC-based programs throughout your shift, with periods of sitting up to 8 hours per day
- Challenge Resolution: Address customer challenges by leveraging all available resources for account selection, product identification, order placement, and order management
- Financial Accuracy: Resolve pricing and invoicing discrepancies, apply appropriate credits, and implement return procedures accurately
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Commute Ability: Ability to commute to our facility from your home location
- Home Workspace: A secure, dedicated workspace at home for remote work activities
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs simultaneously
- Internet Requirements: Stable internet with documented speeds greater than 5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds
