Writer/Editor to spell check and read copy/book

Freelance Editor & Copy/Publishing Assistant (Spiritual Content)

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Editor & Proofreading Specialist to support the finalization and publication of a series of spiritual development materials, including an e-book, workbook, and guided journals.

This role is ideal for someone who not only has exceptional command of the English language, but also resonates with personal growth, healing, and spiritual transformation content.

Scope of Work

Proofread and edit e-book, workbook, and journal content for:

Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax

Clarity, flow, and readability

Consistency in tone and voice

Light rewriting where necessary to enhance impact and cohesion (not changing my content and what I have as this is channeled material)

Ensure formatting consistency across all documents

Collaborate on layout refinement in Canva and/or Publisher

Prepare final files for publishing and distribution

️ Required Skills & Experience

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills (native or fluent English required)

Strong attention to detail and ability to catch subtle errors

Proficiency in:

Canva

Microsoft Publisher (or similar tools)

Grammar and spellcheck tools (Grammarly or equivalent)

Experience with:

• Amazon KDP publishing (formatting and uploading) books, journal, workbook and set up an account and everything to sell

• Website uploads and product setup on Wix (yes, I already have a website fully working and have other workbooks and cards)

• Ability to follow directions while also offering thoughtful suggestions

Background or strong interest in:

Shadow work, healing, or mindset work

Creative writing experience

Eye for design and energetic alignment of content (tone, flow, and reader experience)

Project completion required within 2 weeks -done by April 30th
