Position Overview: Strategy & Analytics Consultant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Strategy & Analytics Consultant to join our dynamic Strategy & Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who thrive on solving complex business problems through data-driven insights and strategic thinking. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping arenaflex deliver on our purpose by conducting comprehensive research and analysis that informs our operational decisions and drives continuous improvement across the organization.

As a Strategy & Analytics Consultant at arenaflex, you will apply your analytical and technical skills, combined with your understanding of business and operational data, to influence our teams in solving challenging business problems. You will demonstrate a deep knowledge of how different areas within the company interact and work together, and you'll be capable of visualizing cohesive strategies that can be implemented successfully across multiple teams. This position requires someone who is comfortable working with data tools, business concepts, and operational strategies while being prepared to present their findings to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.

What You'll Do

As an integral member of our Strategy & Analytics team, you will be responsible for driving actionable insights through rigorous research and analysis. Your daily activities will involve working with large datasets, developing analytical models, and translating complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business value.

• Research & Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and assessment of industry trends while supporting the development of new strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance organizational performance.


• Data Management: Work with various data systems across the organization to improve, maintain, and share available data tools with different business units.


• Technical Analysis: Leverage advanced technology skills including SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, Tableau, and Big Data Concepts to provide solutions to business requests and complex analytical challenges.


• Insight Generation: Transform raw data into easily understood, presentable, and actionable findings that inform strategic decision-making at all levels of the organization.


• Model Development: Participate in the development and improvement of analytical models and strategies, including supporting their implementation across the organization.


• Technical Guidance: Facilitate and share technical guidance on ideas and topics to organizations throughout the business, serving as a subject matter expert.


• Optimization Analysis: Conduct analysis using optimization and various analytical tools to create and examine scenarios providing insights into how different business units perform.


• Compliance: Utilize appropriate data management tactics that encompass privacy standards and ensure data integrity throughout all analytical processes.


• Additional Duties: Perform other analytical and strategic duties as directed by leadership to support organizational objectives.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required


• Experience Level: Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in network planning or airline operations


• Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in data collection, applied data analysis, business assessment, and presentation development


• Microsoft Office Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential; ability to create compelling presentations for senior leadership


• Data Visualization: Proven experience with Tableau or other data visualization software


• Data Manipulation: Experience with Alteryx or other data manipulation software

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Working knowledge of arenaflex operations and the transportation industry


• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, Teradata, PostgreSQL) for data querying and analysis


• Highly expert in the art of detail, ensuring accuracy in all analytical work


• Skilled in taking initiative, demonstrating ownership and accountability for deliverables


• Skilled in continuous improvement and complex problem-solving


• Ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments and adapt to changing priorities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team


• Ability to teach data tools, techniques, and business concepts to junior team members


• Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities while working as a collaborative team player with minimal supervision


• Ability to interpret data, draw implications, and adjust analysis techniques as required


• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to all audiences, both verbally and in writing


• Ability to develop and deliver presentations to large audiences including senior leadership


• Ability to provide a critical perspective on market conditions and address situations involving conflict constructively


• Ability to comprehend and manage optimization software and various analytical tools to interpret outcomes and create iterative strategies for improvement


• Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential data with discretion and integrity


• Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of business philosophies and strategies across the different areas involved in operations
