Position Overview
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Agency Sales Manager to join our Corporate Sales team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships with Travel Management Companies (TMCs) across our network. As an Agency Sales Manager at arenaflex, you will serve as the primary expert and point of contact for corporate travel management organizations, exercising significant judgment to make decisions that directly impact our revenue streams and market position.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic TMC Partnership Management: Serve as the dedicated expert and primary contact for Travel Management Company (TMC) business relationships, acting as the face of arenaflex to our valued corporate travel partners.
- Business Development: Build and cultivate strategic business relationships with TMC accounts, focusing on creating mutually beneficial business travel opportunities that drive value for both arenaflex and our corporate clients.
- Negotiation and Pricing: With minimal direction from leadership, exercise substantial judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements. Aim to secure the highest market share and yield possible in individual commercial markets.
- Contract Development: Partner with legal and risk management teams to develop and execute contract-based arrangements that protect arenaflex's interests while fostering strong partner relationships.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze revenue, discounts, and contract performance to ensure target compliance and profitability across all TMC accounts.
- Marketing Collaboration: Develop marketing-related initiatives to support sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business loyalty teams to create compelling offers that drive corporate bookings.
- Account Management: Manage the onboarding of TMC corporate accounts through sales calls, negotiation sessions, and coordination with pricing teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Revenue Optimization: Plan business growth and lead the development of other corporate accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams. Ensure that entries are filed appropriately and drive expected revenue according to agreement specifications.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor reporting and statistics to identify trends and develop strategies to ensure arenaflex is positioned appropriately in the marketplace.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor revenue, commissions, and contract performance to ensure maximum revenue and share goals are achieved.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage and organize time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex.
- Sales Planning: Prepare and execute regional sales plans in alignment with corporate sales targets. Ensure arenaflex is strategically positioned among competitors and leverage our market position effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus on the retail management environment or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Basic Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the airline or travel industry is highly desirable.
- Industry Tools: Previous exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources such as Arc and Crystal is a plus.
