Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our specialty pharmacy team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry related to transplant prescriptions, processing patient referrals, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, prescribers, and our pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry Transplant at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Prescription Data Entry: Accurately enter prescription information into our pharmacy management system, ensuring all patient demographics, medication details, and prescribing information are captured correctly for transplant and specialty medications.
- Prescription Routing: Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for review and completion, identifying potential issues such as drug interactions, dosage discrepancies, or missing information that requires clarification.
- Provider Communication: Make outbound calls and fax communications to physicians and prescribers to obtain prescription clarifications, request substitutions, and facilitate formulary changes in accordance with insurance requirements and patient needs.

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacy setting.
- Active Pharmacy Technician Certification in the state of Georgia is required. Candidates must be able to provide proof of certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent verifiable education is mandatory.
