Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to secure best-value solutions for indirect and direct materials. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and establish strong, collaborative relationships. Lead negotiations for complex contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines. Analyze spending patterns and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement. Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure service level agreements are met. Develop and maintain a robust database of suppliers and contracts. Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management. Mentor junior procurement staff and contribute to the overall development of the procurement function. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or contract negotiation. Proven track record of successfully reducing costs and improving supplier performance. In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and negotiation strategies. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong understanding of global supply chains and international sourcing. Ability to thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced, and collaborative work environment. Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
