About the Senior Financial Analyst Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst on our Credit & Fraud Risk Finance team, you'll be responsible for supporting the forecasting, results analysis, and strategic analytics for our international card portfolios. This is a high-impact role that requires close partnership with Chief Credit Officers across multiple regions, providing you with unparalleled exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
You'll be tasked with developing and presenting key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management, offering thought leadership in the enhancement of forecasting models, and contributing to strategic business analytics that drive arenaflex's long-term growth objectives. What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Analyst at arenaflex, your contributions will directly impact our financial performance and strategic direction. Here's what you can expect:
- Forecasting & Analysis: Support Net Loss Provision forecasting and results analysis for our International Card portfolios through close partnership with Chief Credit Officers in the regions. You'll build financial forecasts that inform funding decisions and drive business strategy.
- Executive Reporting: Develop and present key analyses and monthly recoveries outcomes to senior management, highlighting key drivers of change to enable better long-term planning and strategic decision-making.
- Model Development: Provide thought leadership in the development and enhancement of Recoveries Forecasting models, continuously improving our analytical capabilities and methodologies.
- Strategic Analytics: Contribute to strategic business analytics initiatives that support arenaflex's long-term growth targets and competitive positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally on projects across the Risk Finance organization to support organizational objectives and drive innovation.
- Data Governance: Ensure adherence to governance standards and controls while maintaining data integrity and analytical rigor in all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
We're seeking candidates who bring a strong foundation in financial analytics and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Here's what we're looking for:
Essential Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience working on financial analytics using large datasets. Advanced Excel modeling skills are required, with the ability to create scalable, complex financial models.
- Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Hive/Yellow Brick is required; Python experience is preferred.
- Communication Skills: High proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create compelling, data-driven presentations for senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in card services, risk management, or financial services is strongly preferred.
- Work Experience: At least 1+ years of relevant work experience in financial analytics, forecasting, or risk management.
