About The Role
As a Senior Customer Solutions Manager at arenaflex, you'll take end-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, interfacing and influencing across core account groups including Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services, product and engineering teams, and of course, our customers' own teams. You'll establish a deep understanding of your customer's business vision, culture, and processes, and evangelize arenaflex services to influence customers to adopt the right solutions at the right time.
This role is perfect for someone who loves to solve complex problems, enjoys working with large-scale transformations, and wants to be the voice of the customer within arenaflex. You'll serve as your customer's cloud journey coach, advocating for their needs to arenaflex leadership, product teams, and engineering teams. Your communication skills, program management expertise, technical acumen, and transformational mindset will help you earn trust with customers, understand their strategic goals, and translate those goals into executable plans that deliver successful, often industry-changing, outcomes.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Customer Solutions Manager, you'll be responsible for driving cloud adoption and maximizing customer value across the Energy sector. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Customer-Facing Responsibilities
- Drive and Support Cloud Adoption Plan: Work collaboratively with the customer and various arenaflex teams—including the Customer Account team, Service teams, Professional Services, Training, and the partner ecosystem—to create a detailed customer planning framework. You'll establish executable plans to realize the vision and strategy defined by the Customer Account team while helping customers optimize and co-develop services and features to support specific use cases through influencing product development roadmaps.
- Accelerate Cloud Adoption Journey and Maximize Value: Take ownership of adoption initiatives that support customer business goals and advance their cloud journey. This includes defining key milestones, removing blockers, and implementing processes to accelerate workload migrations. You'll also drive enablement by defining training strategies to upskill technical and non-technical roles across the customer's organization, ensuring effective adoption of arenaflex services. Additionally, you'll implement governance structures to effectively manage both the partnership and the customer's adoption journey.
- Identify and Align on Strategic Opportunities: Partner with the Customer Account team to work backwards from the customer and identify strategic cloud opportunities. These opportunities can include large-scale migrations, data and analytics initiatives, digital innovation, high performance computing, product innovation, and business agility programs. You'll provide support through TCO analysis and business case assessments.
- Deliver Training Across the Organization: Collaborate with the customer organization and other arenaflex groups to establish train-the-trainer programs and deliver training at scale across the customer's enterprise.
Internal-Facing Responsibilities
- Develop the CSM Function: Define and implement scalable mechanisms, methodologies, and tools that benefit the entire CSM community. Work with other CSMs and internal groups like Technical Field Communities to develop, curate, and distribute knowledge and best practices related to customer vision, strategy, and cloud adoption acceleration.
- Customer Account Team Management and Reporting: Serve as the critical connective tissue between various members of the Customer Account team, including Global Account Managers, Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, and Professional Services. You'll be essential in aligning and managing activities and programs to deliver on the customer's cloud strategy and vision.
- Collaborate with Internal Teams: Drive and support product and organizational development by collaborating with internal teams such as Product Development and Service teams. Contribute to arenaflex service roadmaps through mechanisms like Product Feature Request management.
- Leverage Data and Build Repeatable Mechanisms: Use data to validate strategies and guide performance measures for programs and initiatives. Take responsibility for identifying, documenting, reporting, and analyzing data to ensure the Customer Account team is measurably achieving the customer's cloud vision and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Utilities industry
- Deep understanding of cloud computing principles and arenaflex services
- Experience working with Global 500 companies or large enterprise accounts
- Background in digital transformation initiatives within heavy industries
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in the Energy sector
